The Revenger's Tragedy (c.1606), attributed to Thomas Middleton, is a story about corruption, justice and revenge. It is a dark Jacobean revenge play where Vindice seeks vengeance against a corrupt Duke who poisoned his fiancee, Gloriana, nine years prior.
